Sometimes you’re out of inspiration what to put on your toast or sandwich. You want something filling, healthy and tasty. This almond cashew butter is therefore exactly what you want! You can always choose to omit the sugar or replace it with agave syrup if you prefer not to eat refined sugars. Happy lunching!

1/8 cup of cashews
1/8 cup of almonds
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon coconut oil
pinch of cinnamon

I think this will be the shortest recipe text of all my recipes. It couldn’t be easier, you put all the ingredients in the food processor and mix it for 3 to 4 minutes, it can sometimes take a little longer. First you see the nuts change into a crumble, if you blend long enough it will automatically turn into a kind of peanut butter, super nice!

A food processor is really needed for this, a blender is just not powerful enough to do this. It doesn’t have to be an expensive fancy food processor, I just use a small simple one!
