HOMEMADE HUMMUS

The favorite of all vega’s, nutritious and rich in protein. And of course super easy!

Makes: 1 big bowl
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 0 minutes
Equipment: Food processor or high-powered blender

Ingredients:
1 can of chickpeas (2 1/2 cups
2 tablespoons of tahini
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of water
salt and pepper 

Pour the chickpeas into a sieve and rinse well with cold water. Then put all the ingredients in the food processor, or blender and mix for at least a minute until it is smooth. If the hummus is too thick for you, you can always add more water or oil.

Super short recipe but super tasty. Fun for a get-together or party with some cut vegetables and crackers. Or on bread as lunch. You can keep it in the fridge for about 5 days in an airtight plastic container.
