Another super great recipe for the oven-less people. Feeling like having fries without having to leave the door or turn on the deep fryer. Snacks for the weekend!
Makes: 2/3 portions

2 cups potatoes
5 tablespoons neutral oil
teaspoon paprika powder
You can choose 2 options before we start: buy whole potatoes, peel them and cut them into French fries. This takes about 10 to 20 minutes to prepare, this is way more delicious. Option 2 is a bag of pre-cut potatoes. The explanation of this recipe is quite short but I’ll try to make it fun.
Place your frying pan on medium to high heat and make sure the pan is hot. Put the tablespoons of oil in a large bowl and add the paprika powder, if you like it you can also use cajun seasoning, curry powder or anything else that you like. Mix the oil and spices well together and then add the cut potatoes. Now mix well again until all potatoes are colored by the spices. If your frying pan is not super large, fry the fries in parts. You do not want them piled up in the pan, they do not get that crispy.
Fry the fries for about 20 minutes with occasional stirring in the pan and turning the fries over. Taste one of the fries to check whether they are really cooked, carefully, very hot! Sprinkle some salt all over when they are ready.
Serve the fries with your favorite sauce!
