POACHED EGGS

A method that you may not have seen before. For anyone who finds a poached egg too much trouble, this is your recipe!

Cooking time: 7 minutes
Equipment: Cooking pan and cling film

Ingredients:
2 eggs
oil spray
2 slices of bread
1 avocado
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
salt and pepper 

Take 2 slices of your favorite bread and toast them if you like. Cut the avocado in half and carefully remove the pit. Put all the avocado in a bowl and mash with a fork until it is smooth. Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper and stir well. Smear the avocado smash over the bread. If you prefer to eat it without avocado or replace it with something else, you can skip this completely.

Now the egg! Bring a large cooking pan with water to the boil and turn the heat a bit lower. You want the water to form bubbles very gently but no longer boils before you put in the eggs. Take an empty bowl and put a large piece of cling film in it, spray with some oil spray so that nothing sticks. Break the egg in the bowl where the foil is. Carefully take all sides of the foil and make a knot. Take a good look at the picture, that’s the idea. It seems like the first time you do it is very hard, but if you do a few eggs you will notice that it is super easy.

Now place the eggs in the foil in the softly simmering water. If you want a soft yolk, cook for 7 minutes. Really no longer than that because then the egg is immediately hard boiled. If you want it as in the first picture, cook for 9 minutes. When the eggs are ready, take them out and leave to cool for a minute, otherwise you burn your hands. Cut or decouple the knot in the foil and serve your egg on the bread.
