For all recipes where you need this but can’t find it anywhere, I got you! Super easy to make and delicious in many recipes! Check for example the vegan brownies that I make with this:

Makes: 1 jar, about 2 cups
Prep time: 2 minutes
Cooking times: 20 minutes
Equipment: Frying pan and sieve

3 1/3 cups of natural soy milk
1/4 cup of soy cream
teaspoon of salt
1 cup of sugar

Add all ingredients to the frying pan and bring to a boil, turn the heat down and cook for 20 minutes. Stir with a spatula every few minutes. It is not going to look so good now, there will be bits and pieces in the milk, just stir it in!

After 20 minutes the milk is halved in volume, now you can remove the pan from the heat and put the mixture through a sieve in a bowl. Be careful because the mixture is still super hot! Take a piece of cling film and put it around the bowl, so that the foil touches the milk mixture. This way you prevent another layer from coming over. Allow the mixture to cool, preferably in the refrigerator for a whole night.
